ED Tech 520: Google presentations

  • Google presentations is an application built into gmail accounts that could be used to do presentations in a similar fashion as power point.
  • How it might improve productivity in the classroom is similar to power point with the added feature of students being able to work in the editing of a project together from one or more computers at the same time.
  • I knew nothing about google presentations before working on this project.  It seemed very user friendly.
  • I contributed with both the reflections and with the 3rd slide "How this tool could be used to improve productivity."

  1. Time permitting, please make your URL and ACTIVE LINK.
Highlight -> hit the link icon in the tool bar -> paste the URL.
Yes, real time is a wonderful perk, as well as reducing compatibility issues.

  2. Stephen --- just noticed the URL you have in the post is NOT a link to your Presentation project. Please establish the correct URL, and make it active in the post. Ideally --> please EMBED your presentation into your blog post so we can view it right from here. I can assist if you need help.

  3. Recall --- when you copy the Embed info -> and return to edit your Post -> be sure to select the EditHTML tab and Paste (not the Compose Tab.

I'll check back in a bit to see if that did the trick.
